Written for the 1961 20th Century Fox film All Hands On Deck, directed by Norman Taurog, starring Pat Boone, Buddy Hackett and Barbara Eden.
In this light romantic comedy, Pat Boone plays a singing lieutenant who has to ship out to the Aleutians leaving his new love behind. Unbeknownst to the crew, they take off with a stowaway turkey, nurtured by a zany sailor. By the time the ship returns to Long Beach, Boone’s girlfriend has also smuggled herself aboard.
